My first Link building Job Sucks

I have Being using a Link Building Program on another Blog and all I can Say is that it Sucks. I spent Most of My time Submiting links when I could Be Creating Content that is Link Bait.In just a Few Days I Had Requests for So Many Links that I could just not Find time to Write Content and I think Link Building Sucks as your Content is What Creates Links and When you Use a Link Market as a Non Paid member there is no Way to Check if that Site is Still Linking to you because they Have burried your Links where there is a One in a million Chance of them Every been found if Any.

So I am Sorry that I have not Updated Latley because I was Stuck doing this  Crappy Link building Job have you Tried this or Maybe you Know a Good Link building Site that does not require you to Create links all day and making this Process Very Repetitive.

Reviewing content and Getting Traffic

I have now written over 170 posts on this Blog so that is the First step completed I now have lot's of content but I have to Go and Rewrite most of them again. This is Because I have to Change anchor text and Polish them up a Little for Search Engines.

Another thing that i have to Do is Maybe take about 3 posts per day and Goto Some Forums and Find Some target Traffic. How am I going to Do this you may ask yourself. Well I have to place my posts in relevant questions asked in Forums.

The problem that many of us have is that we always use our Homepage when linking and this is not always a Good Idea. For example I have written a Post about  The Mybloglog Viral System but if I post an Answer to How it Works in a Forum and Give my Homepage as the Answer Visitors will not see this on my blog and Will not go through my Posts to Find it.

So my Idea now is to Select 3 posts a Day and Find Relevant Questions on them and post my Answers in Boards. This will link those posts a little better and have more Targeted traffic.

As many Bloggers know Forums are on of the Better sources of Traffic and they Should be Used. Writing content is One thing but Linking it and getting the Article Seen is another.Most Blog posts won't appear in Search results for Months anyway so it could be a Good Idea to look over Some of your older posts and Rewrite them and try even change the Headline which Could be the Main Reason that it was Never Found because it just needed a little Search engine optimization.

Your Template and Your Content

I had been trying to make A Sticky page to Increase Page views on my Blog.This was Because if I had one Good landing Page I could get more page-views so I thought.But there could be a problem for returning Visitors that are not Subscribers to my feed as they might Not notice the Difference.

Also from now on when you visit here you will land on what I call the Blog Homepage. This was much needed as most new visitors have a very short attention span and you have only a few seconds to impress them enough to view another page let alone subscribe to your feed.



As many new visitors come from Referring sites due to comments that somehow interested them in my blog. But they expect something else and they don't use site Search very much and are gone without looking any deeper into your Blog. The landing page now will increase page-views a little but you can't make  everyone happy, like I have seen people coming to one of my pages for a Tutorial on How to Put a Slideshow on your Blog. I have seen that they did not stay long enough and so I rewrote it and I can't explain this any better than it is written.If they Email me with their Username and Password then I could put it on the Page but I can't Do anymore with the Post.

We may all have posts like this, No matter how well you Explain it could be Because they are not impressed with your Template. This is Where Desing comes in using Free Templates is Easy but not Original and they Don't help Brand your Blog.

Blog Promotional Tactics

We are all looking for Ways to Promote Our Website and Even more Ways to Promote it For free and Increase Link popularity. But they methods we a subjected to are not always the Correct way and there are many misleading sites out there who say they will Submit to many search engines. even Meta tag Generators seem to Be pointless I don't use them myself as I find most SEO is just a waste of time that I could be spending looking for Related Blogs and Writing more content.

How many Videos are Out there Claiming to bring in  the Visitors and Telling tales of Great website search engine submission and website optimization tutorial Tactics. I mean they all saying much the Same thing that you Have to Pay for Traffic which is a Complete lie Paying for Advertising will help increase Traffic but Will it be Target Traffic.

John Chow said in a Recent Post about Using Mailing Lists as a website promotion tip but this is Because he Gets Referrals from Aweber but thousands of others are Doing the Same. I don't think there is a free website promotion software and if anything works you will have to pay lots of money for it. I think the only way to Increase Traffic is To Get out there Commenting and Linking your Blog to Related Posts

I think the Only way to Get better traffic is to have something to Promote. As I have no Actuall Product to Sell as Such Most of these Methods do not work for me so I have to join an Affiliate Program to Be able to Write in this Kind of Way and use these Traffic Generating Tools.



The Best way For Normal Blogs to Increase Viewers is to be Known in the Blogosphere and if you Don't have a Garvatar Get one as it's the first step in Branding which I have yet to Focus on but Will be Doing in the Future .

A Faster Way of joining Mybloglog Communities

Navigating through the website of Mybloglog can be anoying to join the 15 communities. Now I have built a list and this will be a faster way of finding and Joining the 15 communities.


What you do is Goto this Page Right Click on the communities open in new Tab and join them. This will save you Lots of time as the Mybloglog page is Slow and also there are many sites with labels applied to them so will find target Communities easier. Now when you have joined these communities Bookmark the Page and come back the Next Day pick another From the Archives or Tags this Way there is lots of time saved.

I have put all of my communities in there and I hope that you will find some that you can join.At this time they go Directly to the Communities but I hope to make a small Directory from it. So if you see you blog in there Post a comment and A short site description and I will add it to the list but not a link to your community but direct to your blog.

I had Went Days Without earning anything with my Blog until I discovered what was Wrong. There Were things on my Page that were of no financial Benefit to me and this is Where visitors were leaving my Site from. So what I done was take these off and leave as little Extras as possible on my Page that were of no Help to me or my Visitors.

Take flag Conters for example these Banwidth Monsters are Maybe Causing your Biggest Traffic Problem as they are Large on the Page and How many Sites Have you Visited From Search engines that Had Snow on the Screen I think None. They may All Look Cool but they are costing you Traffic Big time. There is no Point writing Great Posts, Having all your Keywords Correct and Keyword Destiny is of no Help if your Page is Too Large it will not show in Search. Some people told me that my Commenting System Disquss Had Made their page load a little Slow so they took it off. But this was another Template and that can Happen fortunately in is not the case with Mine. But there are other thing I know will not work with my Template and I don't Put them on there. Widgets that Have pictures on them tend to Increase page size and Ruin chances of your site Appering in Search. Other things include Twitter Counters Add to Technorati Gadgets. If I really Like a Blog then I will add it to My Favorites.

Now one of the Most important thing on your Page if you Want to make Money is Not just High Paying Keywords or High Traffic Phrases it's your Advertising itself they Must be Optimised for Top Performance and Placement is Important. If the Ads are in the middle of a page Hidden in Between Flagcounters and Live Visit Feeds then they are Not going to be seen and will make Zero no Matter how Many visitors you Have.

So Remember Less Gadgets more Traffic Keep the Internet Uncluttered Remove Badges for Directories and Put them All in One Post unless you are Getting Visitors from them. Another thing to do Is use third parties to Optimize and Blend your Ads there are Many of These. Which Test different ad formats and Placement Automatically and will increase Revenue from Many Advertising Networks. Some of them Require a small Commission  while Others are Free just look around for Which one is Best for your Blog.

Test your Page to See if it loads Fast enough make it Smaller forget about Cool Widgets and Optimize your Site for Traffic and Earnings. A few Simple Ways to Start making Money Online

Entrecard should you Use it

I have seen many Bloggers talk about how Great entrecard is or not. Now many believe that you can get lots more traffic from this I am not so sure because I have read about high bounce Rates and they can be a problem with Entrecard . I drop where I see one but As for it being a main source of traffic. Personally I don't think it should be used as a main Traffic source. It is mostly targeted at only the Drop and not actually Reading the posts. Another thing is when you go from site to  site making drops you will land on  sites that make your Browser Crash or Far worse.


Going  about trying to get credits having to  visit all these sites just say about 100 a day for 100 visitors there is one question that comes to mind. What way will your mind be after going to 100 sites and looking for these drops this many times. And will you able to think straight enough to write something after doing that I don't think so. These are a good Short term solution but far from the Answer to getting Readers and traffic as most Visitors will only be there for the Drop.

So I think when you see one Drop it but Don't go looking for them, Because your blog will not Develop with this tactic, As you will be too busy going everywhere except to your Post composer  and it's important to have fresh content every few Days. But if you are going blogwalking all the Time you will not be feeding your brain with Ideas for new posts.

Writing about other Blogs can be another way of Creating content for you own and gaining backlinks. If you wish to do a link exchange with another blog there are many ways of doing it. One is to put in a small banner another is to put an intext link which can be made even more effictive as a small banner is not going to stand out very much but an intext link will because it's inside the contents of the post and attention is drawn toward that piece of text.

The is also a better way to do this by planning with the linking party because if you were to preplan post that would link to each other. This would have Great possibilties. Just for example I done a Post on Keywords and the Other done A post on Keywork Destiny and these were to link both ways to each other this would improve page rank.

But I am not writing about this topic as there are way too many SEO blogs in the first place. I need to write about something like tips on paying off a student loan or ways for students to make money .This would be a better topic because I have only seen a few blogs like this one of them I came across today for example mentioned Selling Old things that you may have in your room as a way to raise funds in difficult times of the month.

This Idea for a blog was Original and we should see more of these kinds of blogs even if it's intended for Broke students it could also be helpful Advice for anyone who was looking to make a little extra cash without working. So you could know more about what is actually inside a Poor Man's Treasure Chest.

Being bored looking for something I came across a Question on yahoo answers asking is there a search engine that instead of Searching with words you could use an Image. Well my first impression of this Question was go look yourself.

But I decided to look for it anyway as If I found something it would be Good to Blog about. now retriver about is a search engine in beta you can search by image or making a simple sketch the Database is mainly Flickr. Now don't get excited it does not do Face recognition so you can't play james bond with it the same goes for objects. The site owners say that it is quite accurete. So if you want give retriver a try it's part of some projects made by a company called systemone and looks quite exciting for the future of search engines.

You could also use it to test your artistic abilities if you wish to try them out also.It's not a new site but maybe it went un noticed before like many sites do and Remain almost unheard of. I never heard of it but I was never searching for a site that search not for words but images. What about you did you know of such search engines ?

Making a Breakaway Group in Blogcatalog

Feeling tired of people posting messages in my Blogcatalog profile I have began a Small breakaway Group.The Idea of it Is to just Post your Blog Address and Visit the other people in the Group and stay look around for a minute or so and you skip all the channel hopping so you can cut out the middleman and get traffic to your blog.

I would like the members to stay and look around the other Blogs because bounce rates affect Ranking.And things like Blogwalking are killing you page rank if everyone in the group just visited each blog for 30 seconds everyday it could increase Alexa rank also.So would you visit 10 sites a day for 10 visits and Watch your alexa Rank go up I think it's a good deal so visit the group it's called put your site in here only and visit the members for a little time and they will visit back.

Little steps like this will get you a few visits a day and maybe you could get backlinks also but remember to visit each site at least once a day if not a few times a week.Because this method would get you more traffic than Blogcatalog.So why not join in a get some visitors even if it's only 10 a day but Remember only 1 url per person.This is because of people who have 10 blogs and we can't visit them all so just one person 1 blog and 1 visit for each blog you visit.

Infolinks are they Worth it ?

Running infolinks is a Waste of Time.After Trying it  a few weeks now I have not Even Reached a Dollar.Now I am thinking I should just get rid of them.The Biggest Problem with Infolinks,is the eCPM of the intext Advertisments.Many have Claimed it to Be Lower Than $0.10 and even when Visitors Click,The Webmasters get a Pitiful 0.01 cent a click.

Minimum Payout is $100,Work out How long it will Take to Get Paid at that Rate of Earnings.I see them Advertising as an Adsense Alternative,but they are Far from an Alternative.I think that they could Also Affect Adsense Earnings as they are Also Ads and you could be loosing out on $1 clicks from Adsense because your Visitors are leaving through Ads that are Paying $0.01

Well if I choose to Run Infolinks ,Permanently on this Blog,I think Payday Should Come in the Next Decade.Have you Tried this Type of intext Advertising or Kontera.What was Your Experience with These Programs ?.

Out of the Can marketing yes we have seen it all Someone is trying to sell you an Ebook that will make you Rich how many pages are there like this.There is a problem i have with this, the first is if someone knows how to make money online
they are not going to tell you for free.Secondly I hate Ebooks they fill your Hard drive with Crap and i don't want them for free and i will Surely not pay for one.

There is only one way to get traffic that is "hard work" .One must promote their site where ever they can Forums are useful for this but this is what Bugs me about Posting on Forums. I post on a Forum and it comes up in a result.If i promote my Site in the post i Could get kicked out so, Somebody has to 1st Find my forum post in the search and look at it. But maybe the forum is not open and they cannot Read the post. Then i am counting on the chance that they like my post and want to know more that they will click on my profile and view my page.
so this is ok if i am that very lucky that the person searching does this.Just read this from Why forums suck

Another thing is if you use enzines you will not get found i done this search if i can't use traffic exchanges what else adsence what happened you can see if you look this result then look at this result and again another result . All on the first page.
