I think free Doughnuts his Target Keyword.Looking at that Episode of the Simpsons I think all bloggers Feel like Homers MrX character I can't even sit in a Bar anymore without thinking of how I could make a blog post from the conversation.

But what can we Learn from this MrX that we Can integrate on our blogs. We all know that you can't just copy other peoples work but I guess many don't know the Consequences just like Homer did not until Lisa told him.

Now I will Stop writing my post because maybe there are millions of searches daily from people looking for doughnuts for free or cheap doughnuts.Plus I could Have came across a secret that will put me on The Island.

Increasing Traffic for Certian Days of the Week

I think I will have to stop posting on Saturdays it looks like the so called best day of the week happens to be my worst day for traffic. And most of my Saturday posts will go unread looking at my stats I can see a decline in the weekend and slowly rising Monday and Tuesday maybe people are out although some sites will see increased traffic at the weekends but not mine apart from once where I got 88 visitors which allmost all og the Bounced but that was Readdit traffic and it is known to have high bounce rates.

So how can I improve weekend traffic or do I just accept this trend because many people are doing their weekly shopping on Saturday or are visiting freinds and family so they are not online so I can't bring in traffic anyway because it's just not there. It could also be that people are searching for things like night clubs and cinemas at the weekend and not bloggin related topics. I think many will be looking for things like Recipes at the weekend because they have more time to cook so the weekend would also be  good for this kind of site.

I think every blog has a bad traffic day so it could be normal but there are days when you get more traffic than others. Is it that you are not paying enough attention on these days or is it just the way the weekend is. Like for example a football based Blog will get more hits on the weekend but a Insurance site will get less as people are not interested in purchasing Car Insurance on a Saturday. This is more of a midweek search term. Saying that many people go out to buy cars on saturday and they could be looking for Quotes on their Insurance so that could help get more Traffic at the Weekend.

I read an Interesting Post the other nite that Wednesday was the most depressing day of the week according to some research that was done using Twitter. This Could be True so if it's a Wedensday you could write something to cheer people up a little or write about bad monday mornings on a monday I think there are many ways to increase blog Traffic for  days of the week but remember everyday is not going to be good all you can do is try and improve on that.

Timing your Posts for Peak Time Visits

The Distance between St.Johns Newfoundland and Ireland is 1900 miles and 4 hours Time Difference . You may now Ask what on Earth am I talking about this for ? Well I am Talking about these 4 hours because they are Important to me in trying to time My Posts. I had been Reading this a Post today about many  People ask what is the Best time to Publish it recommended that you Post 3 peak Traffic time.

Now which hour of the Day does most of my Traffic Come at I have not much Traffic to Study but I have Started to Try out Advanced Segments in Analytics so I can Get Some Kind of Idea when To Publish . If this method can work knowing which hour is your highest Visiting time of the Day and posting 3 hours before you could be Getting much more traffic especially if you have a Geo Targeted Blog . Which mine is not I could blog about this country but I think that niche is already well taken over plus the fact that I would have to start blogging about Music and Tourism but I want to Do something else that has not been done before. This is the hard part because most niche blogs have been done so how can I choose to write about one thing all the time. This is fine if you are a Programmer  and you want to tell the world about your software or Even a Hairdresser showing off the Cuts you made this Week. Basically this Blog is a blog in Development and when I choose to make it a niche blog then it is going to be Very hard to write Fresh Content with every post so I am trying to write about Something while not Drifting too far from my main Topic on this site which is well you decide I am not Going to Label myself just yet.

So lets get Back to this 4 hour time Difference now there is not many people in between these 1900 miles Just Iceland about (320,000 )and Greenland about (60000 people) So if I hit Publish at the wrong Time I am writing for the fish so I have to Learn not only where my traffic comes from but also when and what is the best time to publish a post.

So when is your Rush hour of Internet Traffic and how do you prepare for your Daily surge of visitors to your Site having fresh content Prepared for them to indulge in when your Guests Arrive and I am sorry to anyone who thought this was a post about Alcock and Brown I was only thinking about TransAtlanticData Transfer .
