How to Make your Blog load Faster

The Main Reason to Make your Blog Load faster in my Opinion is that People have very Short attention Spans and if there are many Objects on the Page they will be gone very quickly as an Entrecard user I have seen Many crazy blogs that never seem to Load.

Here are Some things you can do To increase Page load times

First Check your Page Size if it's any More than 75k you will have to start cleaning it up a little.

Next Put your Banners in Posts about the Programs you are Promoting this will have a far Greater effect than leaving them on the Page as people will know what they are about and will be more interested in them.

If you have many Gadgets or even worse Autoplaying Videos and Music on the Page it's time to Do something with them. Make the Video box small as people can watch the Videos in Full Screen anyway if they wish. Music should never be on Autoplay it's simple Do you Want people to Read your Post or listen to song as Both at the Same time are Difficult.

It could also be your Template that is causing the Problems as a badly written Template can Cause the Page to Load Slowly. Check the Size of your Raw template it could be very nice but way to big.

Put a maximum of 3 posts per page 5 if you are a microblogger, If you have more than 200 words then better just put one Post on the Main Page.

There are Many Other Ways to Speed up loading Time like Turning off Image and Multimedia ads which can Be very annoying any one that uses Hotmail will know this. Other things Include Page Load Time Scripts and CSS Validate which I can't Advise on so you may do a little Research on these. Flash Advertisment tips

This is annoying on my yahoo and other such things Web pages I just want to see the links and there is this stupid flash advertisement on the screen so I can't see all the links. Yes it's a wonder why I don't use Yahoo so much anymore there a way of stopping these you also get the in live mail, I have seen numereous videos on you tube relating to this and have searched through countless blogs most of them telling all the same thing. Use Adblock plus in firefox the thing is I have it installed so I have to look for another plugin. Or maybe there is another simple solution. Flash ads are Smart and a Plug-in is not going to work all the time.
I am sick searching for ways to stop these so what I do is I just hide them.

The problem with Flash Ads is that you Can't Block Flash with Adblock.The Best way is to use a Browser like Opera So you can change how the Page looks by blocking Content.This may seem like lot's of work but the Flash Advertisements are the to Draw Attention All you can do is Right click and uncheck the Radio Buttons Play and Loop or Use Opera.
