Heatmaps, Screenshots and your Visitors

I took Some Time off from Posting to Look at my Site from another Perspective. Because the Resolution of My Screen is Very Different from what my Visitors are Seeing.


I have Made a Docking Station also For My Laptop as I Bought a New Monitor so, I would be Able to Look A little Differently at my Blog .
The Thing is I use A Laptop and Everything looks Fine on my Screen but I want to See How it looks on a Larger Screen.
Once I have looked at it on a Sony Bravia T.V By Connecting it with a VGA Cable and Changing the Resolution to 640 X 480 but If you Don't have these Things How are you supposed to Know how your Blog looks on Other Screens and in Other Browsers.

For this I use Browsershots    Which will Give me an Idea on How My Blog looks in Other Browsers as I see ,Quite a Few Visitors that Use Safari for Example and Although not Impossible It is Quite hard To get Safari to Work in Ubuntu. Plus I am Happy Enough with Firefox and Links2 which is a Text only Browser. There are Hundreds of Browsers so you can't Suit them All but I would Check My Blog for Compatibty for the Main Browsers like Firefox,Internet Explorer,
Google Chrome ,Safari and Opera.


Another Thing Worth a Look at is Feng shui Heatmaps which has a limited free usage but can help improving placement of Objects on your Page to Increase Profits from your Blog. Incombnation with Yield Build which Optmizes my Ad Networks Saving me Lot's of Time so I can Consentrate on Writing Posts. These Methods could well get you the Revenue that You Have being Loosing out on.

Loosing traffic with Bad Advertising

What do people think when they come to your blog. I have seen many blogs where is says at the top Firefox has blocked 3 maybe even 5 popups on this page. Popups worked about 10 years ago and what turns me off is when I see them. It gives the impression that they are trying to tell me something that I do not care about. Also that the owner is a cheat.

If your page does not interest people then that is your problem and there is no point in putting up popups on your page as people are just not interested in them and most have some kind of software that stops them so before anyone reads one line of your page they are gone because you are seen as a cheater and most popups lead to Gambling sites which are against the Google  Adsense TOS so you also get your Adsense account banned.

Now I think it would be better to stick with the prooved paying networks because these sites that you promote are making your blog blacklist worthy and you won't make any money. Plus they will almost surley not pay you or give false reports. This old method of Advertising simply does not work anymore and if people see these they will close them anyway.

So if you are promoting these you could be loosing out on programs that do pay as they are putting out a message that you are trying to cheat them and you are only cheating yourself by using them so be Carefull what you are Advertising on your Blog.

This is annoying on my yahoo and other such things Web pages I just want to see the links and there is this stupid flash advertisement on the screen so I can't see all the links. Yes it's a wonder why I don't use Yahoo so much anymore there a way of stopping these you also get the in live mail, I have seen numereous videos on you tube relating to this and have searched through countless blogs most of them telling all the same thing. Use Adblock plus in firefox the thing is I have it installed so I have to look for another plugin. Or maybe there is another simple solution. Flash ads are Smart and a Plug-in is not going to work all the time.
I am sick searching for ways to stop these so what I do is I just hide them.

The problem with Flash Ads is that you Can't Block Flash with Adblock.The Best way is to use a Browser like Opera So you can change how the Page looks by blocking Content.This may seem like lot's of work but the Flash Advertisements are the to Draw Attention All you can do is Right click and uncheck the Radio Buttons Play and Loop or Use Opera.
