Update for Linux headers Mess up

So it was another Fun evening my Update manager was Bugging me about Important Updates for my Computer.So I took it's advise and installed the Recommended releases including new Linux Headers.

So I think I am Done with Updating and am Wondering if its not Broke don't try to fix it.My computer was running very smoothly untill I installed these Important Updates and I feeling like Homers nodding drinking bird pressing Y for these Errors. And all leading to this when I tried to reinstall the Dreaded Error 15

So why is Gusty able to rescue me and how come Ubuntu says that my hard Drive is overheated and it must be moved to a cooler place or replaced.This is No problem for Xubuntu 7.10 or Gusty

Now after installing Gusty I am able to install Ubuntu 9.04 once again and this time without any problems.I am quite new to Linux but I am starting to wonder why is Xfce so Powerful that it can do this and not Gnome.If you know about this please comment below as it is very

Strange to me that one works and the other won't install but If I am overwriting then it does not matter but I can't overwrite the Same Distro it won't function,Is this because it will only create a new Partion as this is the second time this has happened but this time I had my Camera.Linux Administration: A Beginner's Guide, Fifth Editionlinux
