Large Pages Are killing your Traffic

Do you have many Images on your page ?.Or Maybe videos and gadgets,These are all killing your chances of getting Traffic from Search engines.Why,Because the make your page large and Spiders and Bots hate big web pages.

Ideally your page should be not larger than 50k and not more than 100 links on the page.Gadgets look good but they will Slow loading time and have links to the gadget which all goes against you in Search Results.

What can you do about this
First test your page to see how large it is there are many tools available for checking page size just search for page size tools.If your page is too big there is one thing you can do and that is make it smaller.Start by Going to Layout click Blogposts >Edit then number of posts on main page and set it to 1 or 3 maximum.Then check your page size again if it's still too Big you may have to loose some of your gadgets.You have to think,Do you want a cool Blog or Do you want Traffic.Most gadgets contain Get this Gadget and people want them so they go get them and leave your Blog.So they are not that Cool at all.Think about your pictures also try making them smaller it will help you much have a smaller page.

Other Reasons
I often see blogs that have crashed my browser because they were too Big.So I will not return to them,would you ?.Just say that is your blog you have lost one visitor and maybe many more.Think about the size of your page it could be your biggest traffic problem.bloggingblogsquad
